My name is Tony Lush, I am an artist based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. I enjoying painting and drawing using many different mediums. I can capture the expression and personality of your family pet in my pet portraits or the technical beauty in your motorbike or vehicle.
All of my paintings and drawings are available to buy as prints or if you have a commission in mind, please do get in touch. Commissions start from £200.
HOW IT WORKS
How to commission your portrait
First, get in touch with me by phone or email.
We will chat about your requirements and I will give you the total cost and approximate timescale.
You will then send me some of your favourite photographs. We can then discuss and choose the best ones to base your painting on.
I will then start painting, letting you know of my progress as I go.
Once the painting is complete, I will let you know and we can arrange for you to view it or send you photographs.
If you are happy with the painting, I will request payment and the painting is yours.

Looking at a 6ft 7in long haired bearded biker type, most people would not associate me with anything artistic of any description. 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' applies here! I've loved drawing from childhood. As I went into my teens other pastimes came into my life, motorbikes, music — either listening to or trying to play like Jimmy Hendrix — but still my love for art was, & still is, top of my enjoyment list.
To take a plain piece of paper & produce a finely detailed work of art is a passion that never fades. I enjoy working in the different media’s that I have learnt over the years — pencil, pastels, airbrush, acrylics and inks. Each gives wonderful scope for different effects but fine detail always comes into my work no matter what is being used at the time.
What could be more exhilarating than to see the results of an idea or an undertaken commission form & come to life before your eyes. It makes the many hours taken to produce each artwork seem very worthwhile.
